About

I've spent over a decade navigating the ambiguity of early-stage ideas and ambitious visions. My work thrives in the space where clarity is scarce but critical decisions are abundant. Having led design across startups, global scale-ups, and my own ventures – I know what it takes to turn raw ideas into real impact.
I uncover core user needs through traditional interviews, rapid AI-assisted research, workshop sprints or guerrilla testing and translate those insights into a lean, adaptable roadmap that ties vision to business outcomes. I bring it all to life, crafting coherent narratives and interfaces that blend time-tested craft with cutting-edge AI-driven prototyping.
I’m as comfortable sketching on napkins or whiteboards as I am iterating in generative design tools. I partner with PMs and engineers to weave a flexible design practice into every sprint, always surfacing the questions that let us pivot quickly and build products that feel inevitable, intuitive, and wildly impactful.
Outside of work you’ll find me working on physical products, experimenting with AI, sewing my own clothes, or sharpening my photography — each hands-on project teaching me new ways to spot patterns and spark surprise. If you want a designer who balances deep mastery of craft with a forward-leaning embrace of tomorrow’s tools, let’s chat.
What do you think is overrated in product design?

Speed. Everyone’s racing to ship. But if you’re not clear on what you're really making or why it matters, you're just scaling noise.

A recent chapter

From 2019 to 2024, I was the principal product designer at Pirate Studios, a self-service creative studio network that scaled from early-stage to over 700 studios across the UK, US, and EU serving 350,000+ monthly users.
I led end-to-end design and strategy across key product initiatives that helped the business grow, adapt, and scale.
A few I’m proud of:

Capture: unlocking revenue through experience design

Led the creation of a bespoke hardware–software feature that let users capture studio-quality audio onto their phone videos—no setup, no learning curve. Capture increased revenue by 40% in enabled locations, and improved retention.

P.E.T: Designing for systemic health

Formed and led the Product Engagement Team to resolve technical and design debt across the entire funnel—from inbound leads through in-studio experience. Resulted in £70k+ monthly uplift and smoother cross-functional collaboration.

Productising Ops: turning insight into internal tools

Used product design principles to analyse operational pain points and top-performing sites. Designed internal tools that cut staff time, improved NPS, and reduced attrition and maintenance costs—making the business more scalable and efficient.

A reason to work together

I believe in making things that matter, with people who care about doing meaningful work.

Whether it's shaping strategy, making ideas real, or helping other designers grow, the goal is always the same: to spend time on something worth doing.
